Former Ky. State Trooper found guilty
Former Kentucky State Trooper Michael Fred Pennington, 35, was found guilty Friday by a U.S. Federal Court Friday afternoon in London of carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.

On Monday, Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Scott was called to a home on Locust Grove about six miles south of London. There he found a bullet hole in the floor of the home and found a .410-gauge pistol with an empty shell case inside it.

Rachel Hubbard, 38, of Keavy, pleaded guilty in Laurel Circuit Court last week to assault and driving under the influence. The charges came after a Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, crash north of Corbin.
