The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a Williamsburg man for drug charges after he turned himself in to authorities on Thursday.
Samuel R. Cox, 44, of Williamsburg, was charged with two counts of second-degree trafficking of a controlled substance and one count of first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance, according to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell.
Cox was one of several individuals that the sheriff’s department had been investigating for drug-related activity for several months, according to Harrell.
