Several indicted by Knox Circuit Court

CORBIN — Times-Tribune Staff Report

Below are those indicted by the Knox Circuit Court on Friday.

An indictment is a formal charge by a grand jury and is not a conviction or an admission of guilt.

*Patrick Gray, 21, and Tommy Hubbard, 41, receiving stolen property less than $500

*Simeon Passmore, 47, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass

*Randy Merida, 43, receiving stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000

*Donald King, 56, first-degree sodomy, seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree persistent felony offender

*Jonathan Foley, 26, third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000

*James Taylor, 33, first-degree promoting contraband, theft by unlawful taking less than $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Dave Smith, 30, receiving stolen property $500 or more but less than $10,000.

*James Bowling, 44, two counts of third-degree arson, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree fleeing or evading police, alcohol intoxication and first-degree persistent felony offender.

*Steven Roark, 29, third-degree burglary, receiving stolen property $500 or more but less than $10,000 and first-degree criminal mischief.

*Larry Dye Jr., 34, and Russell Laws, 43, first-degree robbery. Dye was also charged with first-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment. Laws was also charged with fourth-degree assault.

*Kayla Gibson, 23, James Smith, 22, and Kyle Hammons, 22, third-degree criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking. Gibson and Hammons were also charged with third-degree burglary. Smith was also charged with first-degree burglary and carry a concealed deadly weapon. Hammons was also charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police.

*Derek McHargue, 21, receiving stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000 and first-degree persistent felony offender.

*Savannah Heading, 22, Ashley Adams, 25 and Richard Bush, 24, manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child.

*Walter Honeycutt, 45, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

*Brandon Abner and Lucas Mabe, both 22, second-degree burglary.

*Evenlyn Maxie, 38, first-degree robbery.

*Bob Goldizen Jr., 50, two counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of sexual abuse and second-degree persistent felony offender.

*James Brown, 48, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and theft or receipt of a stolen credit card.

*Melissa Trosper, 36, two counts of program assistance fraud.

*Rebekah Crawford, 35, program assistance fraud.

*Jack Franke, 34, flagrant nonsupport and first-degree persistent felony offender.

*Crystal Messer, 27, theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000.

*Daniel Patterson, 34, first-degree burglary, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, theft of a firearm, theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

*Brad Tuttle, 27, and Eric Cassidy, 29. Tuttle is charged with five counts of theft of a firearm and second-degree persistent felony offender. Cassidy is charged with five counts of receiving stolen firearm.

*Justin Vaughn, 25, and Sabrina Messer, 30, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription not in original container and two counts of second-degree wanton endangerment. Vaughn was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and Messer was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

*Glen Grubb, 28, Lacy Cox, 23, and Gary Messer, 33, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance not in original container, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of open alcohol beverage in vehicle. Lacy was also charged with possession of marijuana. Messer was also charged with second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Hilt Bryant, 52, first-degee assault.

*Bradley Merida, 21, and Harold Mills, 20, third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but less than $10,000, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Ashley Gray, 23, first-degree bail jumping.

Indictments handed down by the Knox Circuit Court Grand Jury in August:

*Jimmy Lewis, 27, attempted escape, second-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and menacing.

*Gloria Pierce, 40, second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking greater than $500 but less than $10,000, receiving stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000, public intoxication and third-degree criminal mischief.

*James Cox, 43, cultivating marijuana five plants or more.

*Cassandra Maggard, 24, theft by unlawful taking greater than $10,000.

*Billy Bailey, 34, and Richard Gulley, 29, six counts of receiving stolen firearm. Bailey was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and second-degree persistent felony offender. Gulley was also charged with driving under the influence, driving DUI while license revoked for DUI, license not legible and no insurance.

*Roger Smith, 27, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in an improper container, driving under the influence, and driving under the influence suspended license.

*Melissa Rhodes, 23, first- and second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance in an improper container and theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

*Rodney Ledford, 24, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault.

*Johnny Smith, 24, first-degree fleeing or evading, five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, attempted murder, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, menacing, operating on a suspended license, driving under the influence, second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Krystal Shields, 21, and Jason Honchell, 28, criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine. Honchell was also charged with second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Jeannie Smith, 29, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and public intoxication.

*Michael Mills, 32, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Bradley Merida, 21, and Harold Mills, 20, third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking greater than $500 but less than $10,000 and second-degree criminal mischief.

*Dylan Lawson, 19, first-degree fleeing or evading, first-degree wanton endangerment and no seat belt.

*Bobby Morgan, 59, and Kayla Mills, 21, manufacturing methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brian Phillips, 34, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and second degree persistent felony offender.

*Jim Mills Jr., 66, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, four counts of third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree persistent felony offender.

*Nicholas Cima, 33, Thea Cima, 33, Steven Angel, 28, and Rachel Angel, 23, first-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, two counts of fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and cultivating marijuana less than five plants.

*Joe Stacy, 18, theft by unlawful taking greater than $500 but less than $10,000, theft by unlawful taking greater than $10,000, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and first-degree criminal mischief.

*Megan Simpson, 22, and Harley Smith, 25, first-degree burglary with a firearm, receiving a stolen firearm, receiving stolen property more than $500 but less than $10,000. In a separate indictment, Smith is also charged with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault.

*Ford Collett, 52, and James Brown, 48, fraudulent use of a credit card greater than $10,000, sale by or purchase credit card, receiving goods by fraud $10,000 or greater, receipt of a card in violation and theft of credit card.

*Larinda Tuttle, 38, five counts of first-degree criminal abuse.

*Kimberly Vaughn, 39, first-degree bailjumping and first-degree persistent felony offender.
