Drug roundup nets 21 arrests
For 21 persons in and around Laurel County, their Friday morning wake-up call wasn’t a pleasant one. During the frosty dawn hours, a large number of drug traffickers were rounded up and arrested in what Sheriff John Root called “a continuation on our War on Drugs.”

It started Monday with a Louisiana man selling a stolen gun to a Williamsburg pawn shop. Then he led Corbin police on a car chase for some 24 miles. Now, Thomas William Bunn is behind bars, after being arrested by Corbin police Wednesday morning.
