During a search of Williamsburg Plastics, the Kentucky State Police Bomb squad found no explosive devices.

Between 90 and 100 first-shift employees were evacuated from the plant Thursday after a bomb threat was received.

It is believed the bomb sniffing dogs who alerted officials to a suspicious location smelled a chemical used in the plant.

Police are currently seeking the woman wanted in connection with the bomb threat — 30-year-old Amanda Rogers, of Jellico, Tenn. It is unclear whether or not she was an employee of the plant.

Second- and third-shift employees should report to work.

About 80 employees of Williamsburg Plastics were evacuated after a bomb threat was called in at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, according to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell.

Two bomb sniffing dogs alerted handlers to the same suspicious spot in a personnel area near employee lockers.

As of 11 a.m., officials were waiting on the arrival of the Kentucky State Police Bomb squad.

No injuries were reported.

In addition to Harrell's department, Williamsburg Police and Goldbug Volunteer Fire Department personnel are on scene.
