A WIN-WIN EVENT
Thursday evening, 185 local children participated in Williamsburg Police Department’s Shop with a Cop program. “It was a huge success, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event,” said Public Affairs Officer Shawn Jackson. “We raised money throughout the year to make today possible, with events like our Mudbog, Freedom Run, and Turkey Trot, but our goal for the future is to raise enough money with our fundraisers to not have to request donations... We do thank the community, though, for coming together and donating. This event is a win-win for the entire county.”
