Rock group 3 Doors Down is the latest band to announce it will be performing at Corbin’s new arena.
According to the group’s site at www.3doorsdown.com, they’ll be performing at the David L. Williams Southeastern Kentucky Agricultural & Exposition Complex on May 15.
Pre-sale tickets for fan club members will be available starting March 24.
Formed in Escatawpa, Miss., 3 Doors Down had its first hit with 2000’s “Kryptonite.” They’ve gone on to have hits with “Here Without You” and “It’s Not My Time” — the first single off their fourth and self-titled album released last year.
New events are being announced almost daily for the expo center, which opened officially this week with a ribbon cutting and Thursday’s concert by Montgomery Gentry.
Also announced this week, country singer Alan Jackson will be performing April 17. Tickets, which are priced at $59.50 and $49.50, go on sale Monday.
The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which was originally set to have four shows April 2-5, has added two more performances — now with two shows a day on Friday and Saturday. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the arena box office.
