CORBIN —
Times-Tribune Staff Report
A soul singer from the 1960s and a rocker best known for his work with a 1970s rock band have rounded out the entertainment at this year’s Nibroc.
Percy Sledge, likely best known for “When a Man Loves a Woman,” will perform Thursday, according to Bruce Carpenter, executive director of Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
On Friday, Lou Gramm, now a solo artist who first hit the charts while lead vocalist and co-writer for Foreigner, will perform.
Among Foreigner’s hits are “Cold As Ice” and “Head Games.”
Carpenter had already announced Saturday’s entertainment lineup, which includes opening performer Paul Thorn, whose latest CD is said to combine blues, country, gospel, rhythm and blues and rock and roll. After Thorn, Three Dog Night will take the stage.
