Union Valentines concert

Union College will host “A Valentine Concert: A Sentimental Evening,” Saturday at 8 p.m. in Conway Boatman Chapel on the Union campus in Barbourville.

The event is free and open to the public.

“A Sentimental Evening” will feature the Union College Singers, Union Harmony and the Union College Regional Chorus. V. Gay Gandy will conduct. Kathy Smith and Danny Phelps will serve as accompanists.

Selections will include “Moon River,” “Hey There Delilah,” “Stormy Weather,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “I’m Not That Girl” from the musical “Wicked” and much more.

The Valentine Concert is one of several arts and cultural events made possible and offered at no charge to the community each year by Union College. To learn more about Union’s arts and cultural events, visit unionky.edu.
