The T. J. Memorial Toy Run was held Saturday, Nov. 7, and we just wanted to thank all of you that came out and supported the run this year. We had a great turnout and a beautiful day.
I want to thank the sponsors that are there to help make this happen every year, and to thank some new sponsors: Tri-County Cycles (Eric Hart), Wildcat Harley-Davidson, Shane Richmond, Second Brigade M.C., Outlaws M.C., Shea’s Fine Jewelry, Longrider Leather, American Legion Post No. 88, Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 88, Hinkle Printing, Whiplash Signs, Pepsi, K-Mart, Tri-County Industrial Supplies, Owens Auto, W.D. Bryant, Big Lots, Just Desserts, Kroger, McVays Video and Tanning, Something’s Brewing Coffee House and O’Neil Funeral Home.
There are a few people that we would like to thank personally for their donations — Jimmy Vance, Lee Shollenberger and a very special couple who wants to remain anonoymous.
Thank you all so much.
Also thanks to Clara Patterson for helping organize the event — we couldn’t do it without you.
Miss Gail and Big Mike Wagner and Mike and Pat Pierce for helping with the signups and selling raffle tickets.
Thanks to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department for the escort.
The Christmas party will be held at Corbin’s United Effort in December. Santa will be there to hand out the toys to the children.
Thanks again,
Sugar and Wildman
