CORBIN —
Our community really pulled together to make last month’s Sheltowee Extreme a true success. Special thanks goes to our volunteers who worked around the clock out in the wilderness of the area and race sponsors.
The race is getting great reviews through the Internet at www.Sheltoweeextreme.com and Facebook. I have personally spoken with half of the racers from this year, and each has asked when our next race will take place. Racers praised our land and our rivers along with our volunteer staff.
We are fortunate to announce that the National Adventure Race will be held here in McCreary County/Whitley County at Cumberland Falls State Park in October 2011.
Come see and participate in the race to truly appreciate our beautiful and natural surroundings.
With gratitude and appreciation to all who helped make this year’s race a great success.
