London woman arrested on charges from Knox County

A London woman was arrested Thursday on a Knox County indictment, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

Rachel Angel, 23, was indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine, two counts of controlled substance endangerment to a child and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, Root said.

She was arrested by Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective/U.S. Marshal Warrant Task Force Officer Jason Back.

Angel was jailed in the Laurel County Corrections Center.

Stolen property found in London

A jewelry box found near some London apartments had been stolen, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.

The jewelry box was found Thursday by an area resident who contacted officers. Root said the box was returned to its owner and his department is seeking the person responsible for taking it.

Sgt. Josh Gaylor recovered the property.
