The Knox County Sheriff’s office busted an alleged bootlegger Thursday night.
Sheriff John Pickard and Deputy Derek Eubanks arrested 53-year-old Coleman H. Trosper at his home on Fawn Branch off KY 1809 in the Bryant’s Store Community.
Trosper was charged with illegal sale of alcohol in dry territory.
The investigation and arrest stemmed from complaints of excessive traffic at the home and sale of alcoholic beverages at the home, the sheriff’s office said.
Eubanks conducted the investigation.
Pickard has asked Knox Countians for assistance in controlling the illegal drug and alcohol market by reporting such activity to the sheriff’s office at 546-3181. Callers may remain anonymous.
