William Lawson, of Rosebud Lane in London, was nabbed by London police officers about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after he reportedly sold oxycodone to a police informant.
He was charged after the so-called buy/bust with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
According to Lt. Stewart Walker, the informant bought the drugs from Lawson on highway KY 80.
After watching the incident, officers arrested Lawson and delivered him to the Laurel County jail.
Also participating in the arrest were Detective Jimmy Phelps, Sgts. Alan Harris, Matt Moore and Kenny Jones, and Lt. Derek House.
