CORBIN — Special to The Times-Tribune
KCEOC is hard at work to match local employers with people in the area who are searching for a job. On Tuesday, the non-profit agency is holding a job fair for Troll and Toad at its WIA office located at 464 Court Square, Barbourville.
“KCEOC understands the area’s need for employment, and we are constantly striving to find ways to remedy this problem,” states a press release from the agency. “Our last job fair, held for BPI Contractors, was a huge success with over 100 job-seekers in attendance; we anticipate comparable success for the upcoming event.”
Troll and Toad is an online store that sells an inventory of hobby and collectable card games such as “Magic the Gathering.” Troll and Toad started modestly in Laurel County in the early 1990s and has since grown into a successful business that ships hundreds of orders every day from its warehouse in Knox County.
Troll and Toad is seeking individuals to fill positions available in shipping, order fulfillment, data entry, and customer service. The job fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all applicants should bring their Social Security Card and valid driver’s license.
For more information, contact KCEOC’s WIA office at 606-546-2639.
