CORBIN —
Times-Tribune Staff Report
A Corbin man was arrested Friday after a report was made that three naked girls were on Hanes Baker Road, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
When Deputy Milton Storm, along with Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter and Deputy Robbie Grimes arrived, the girls were outside, but went into the home.
Once inside, deputies learned the girls ranged in age from 14 to 16 and that they had been drinking alcohol.
Alcohol was found throughout the home, and Root said the girls admitted they had been drinking.
Glenn E. Adkins, 40, told deputies he was in bed when they arrived and that he didn’t know the girls were drinking.
Adkins was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and second-degree wanton endangerment. He was jailed in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
The girls were all cited to juvenile court and their parents were called to pick them up.
The Court Designated Worker assisted deputies with processing the juveniles.
