London man charged with DUI
A London man was arrested Wednesday for driving under the influence after he pulled his truck into a private drive and passed out with the engine running, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Christopher T. Cupp, 30, was found about 8 p.m. by Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter, who responded to the complaint.
Cupp was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, driving on a DUI suspended license and failure of owner to maintain insurance.
He was jailed in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Woman arrested on Lincoln County warrant
An East Bernstadt woman was arrested Tuesday at the Laurel County Judicial Center on a Lincoln County bench warrant, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Teddi Day, 41, was arrested by bailiffs Brandon Broughton and Shane Rice. The warrant was for failure to appear in court on theft by deception charges.
She was jailed in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
