KY 1064 in Whitley County to be closed

CORBIN — Special to The Times-Tribune

KY 1064 (Whetstone Road) in Whitley County will be closed to all traffic at mile point 5.6 (near the KY 92 junction) on Monday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to replace a failed cross drain.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

Road condition reports for District 11 routes are available by calling 511 or by visiting the 511 travel and traffic information web site at http://511.ky.gov.
