Laurel County Sheriff John Root said a man facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamines pleaded guilty Monday.
Destry Grimes, 57, of Little Pittsburg Road in London, appeared in Laurel County Circuit Court to answer for drug charges.
During court proceedings, Grimes was recommended a sentence of 12 years, according to Root.
Grimes was arrested by Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Jason Back on Aug. 20.
“The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office continues its ‘War on Drugs,’” Root said.
