Animal cruelty charges have been filed against a Corbin man, according to Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
Rodney Gray, 36, of Pine Drive was arrested 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after deputies Greg Turner and Steve Hoskins responded to a complaint of a dog being abused.
Deputies found a dog at the residence without food or shelter, and the animal’s ribs and backbone were visible.
Gray faces second-degree cruelty to animals charges and is jailed at the Laurel County Detention Facility.
