Both victims sent to St. Joseph-London Hospital

An East Bernstadt man allegedly discharged a gun Friday, striking two different people at a residence off KY 3094, according to a report from Kentucky State Police.

The bullet, which was allegedly discharged by J.R. Brock, 25, struck Aubrey Timmons, 44, of East Bernstadt, and then sailed through a wall, striking a 14-year-old child, according to the report.

Trooper Mike King arrested Brock on an outstanding bench warrant. Brock is now being lodged in Laurel County Detention Center.

The gunshot victims were transported to St. Joseph-London Hospital, according to the report.

Trooper King was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jason Van Hook, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office and the Laurel County EMS.

Trooper King is continuing the investigation.
