The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jacket golf team continues their impressive play by breaking a school record during the Shelby County Invitational.
The Lady Yellow Jackets shot a school record 325 and finished in third place behind winner Sacred Heart (301) and second place finisher Henry Clay (324).
Senior Becky Sharpe led the way for Williamsburg with an even par 72, which allowed her to finish in a second place tie, while Kaylee Akins finished with an 82. Julia Higginbotham turned in her lowest career school tournament score of 85 and Beth Jervis finished with an 86. Kacie Cox also turned in her lowest career tournament score with a 104.

Drugs suspected in fatal Knox County crash
Drug use may have been a factor in a crash Monday in Knox County in which an 11-year-old boy was killed, according to Kentucky State Police Post-10 Harlan Public Affairs Officer Trooper Shane Jacobs and Sgt. Jimmy Young.
