Fatal stabbing in Laurel County

CORBIN — Times-Tribune Staff Report

A woman died overnight of stab wounds, and a suspect is in custody, according to Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling. The victim, Pamela Bobbitt, 25, of South Laurel Road, London, was declared dead at St. Joseph-London Hospital. Bowling said the stabbing happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday. Bobbitt had suffered multiple stab wounds. An autopsy is planned today in Frankfort.
