POLICE ROUNDUP: Two unrelated arrests at Laurel Judicial Center

TRI-COUNTY — A London woman and a Corbin man were arrested in two separate incidents that happened at the Laurel County Judicial Center on Wednesday.

According to Laurel County Sheriff John Root, the first arrest came at 10:45 a.m. when Teia J. Tuttle, 34 of Sim Smith Lane in London, was charged with a bench warrant from Laurel District Court for failure to appear in court.

Court Security Officer Larry Walls assisted on Tuttle’s arrest.

The second arrest came at 11:06 a.m. when Darrell Wayne Hall, 46, of Andrew Street in Corbin, was charged with a Laurel County bench warrant for child support violations.

Bailiff Jason Bowden assisted on Hall’s arrest.

Both are jailed in the Laurel County Detention Facility in London.



Whitley man charged with trafficking in marijuana

A Williamsburg man is seeing some jail time after being arrested for marijuana Wednesday.

Garrett Elmore, 22, of Briar Creek Road in Williamsburg, was charged with trafficking in marijuana. He was jailed in the Whitley County Detention Center.

According to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell, Elmore was arrested in the Savoy community by Sgt. Tim Baker of the Sheriff’s Department.
