CORBIN —

A Corbin man was Tasered Friday after he head-butted one Kentucky State Police officer and was attempting to head-butt a second officer, according to Kentucky State Police.
Allen S. Miller, 20, was arrested by a deputy from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department who responded to a call about a fight about 7:30 p.m. at a home along Bee Creek Road, police said.
After the deputy arrived, Miller became violent so the deputy called for assistance, police said. Responding officers included Kentucky State Police Trooper D. Foley, of London Post, and Trooper Jason Bunch, of Harlan Post, as well as police from Williamsburg, Corbin and a Whitley County constable.
After Foley and Bunch arrived, police said Miller charged Bunch, striking Bunch’s chest with his head. Miller then turned and charged Foley.
Foley fired his Taser, though Miller was struck with only one probe and continued to move. Bunch then fired his Taser, striking Miller and causing him to fall onto a concrete porch where police said he sustained a cut to his head.
Bunch, who suffered a bruise to his chest, and Miller were taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released, police said. Miller was jailed at Whitley County Detention Center, police said. According to a jail official Miller was charged with third degree assault on a police/probation officer, two counts of resisting arrest, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree assault and non-payment of fines.
Miller was released from jail on a $150,000 property bond, a jail official said.
