Blanche Opal Massengill, 83, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday Nov. 15, 2012.
She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Community Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Meek Massengill; parents, Joe and Monnie Long Baker; brother, Harold Baker; and by grandsons, Caleb Joe Melton and Michael Brandon Melton.
She is survived by her children; Debbie Johnson and husband Ira III of Aiken, S.C.; Connie Hutchison and husband Harry, of Tecumseh, Mich.; Pamelan Partin and husband, Mark, of Barbourville; Steven Massengill and wife Zula, of Union City, Tenn.; Melissa Massengill, of Corbin; and Linda Melton and husband, Darrell, of London; four sisters, Juanita Whitaker, Betty Lambert, Barbara Poore, and Ann Meyers; and by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from 3 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2:30 p.m. at the England Cemetery near Harrogate, Tenn.
