CORBIN —
Mrs. Nannie Florence Frazier, age 97, of Barbourville, KY, passed away on
Wednesday, December 19, 2012, in the Baptist Regional Medical Center,
Corbin, KY. She was the widow of Clyde Frazier, and the daughter of the
late James Nelson Shelton and Bertha Reynolds Shelton, born to them on
November 18, 1915, in Knox County, KY. Mrs. Frazier was a member of the
Heidrick Holiness Church. She was also preceded in death by four brothers,
Willie Shelton, Roy Shelton, Wes Shelton and Ray Shelton, and sisters, Ora
Goodin, Jean Daniels, and three infant sisters.
Survivors of Mrs. Frazier include one son. Rev. Thomas Frazier, and wife
Verdlain, Heidrick, KY, and one daughter, Margette Frazier, Richmond, KY.,
five grand-children, Tommy, Jeffrey, Karen, Carolyn, and Michelle, and
eight great-grand-children. Logon, Taylor, Emily, Jacob, Adam, Gavin,
Drake, and Allison, and one sister, Cora Baker and husband Lloyd, Berea.
KY, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Florence Frazier will be conducted in the
chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday December 22nd at 11
a.m., with Larry Gray, R.P. Edwards, and Lloyd Baker officiating. Burial
will follow in the Shelton Cemetery, Hinkle, KY, Pallbearers will be Mike
Shelley, Gerald Shelton, June Bug, Tommy Frazier, Drake Frazier, and
Adam Mills
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral home on Friday Dec. 21,
from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 AM until the funeral hour of
11 AM.
