Stella Laws, 83, of Woodbine passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
A native of Pickens, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Callie Nichols Summerell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Laws, in 1999 and a son, Paul Marshall Laws, in 1988.
Stella attended the Whipporwill Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Frederick; sons Jeremy Laws and wife Vesta, Shawn Laws and wife Toni, and Anthony Laws and wife Stephanie; grandchildren Chris, Shara, Jeremy Lee, Kristen, Marissa, Tyler, Steven, Jordyn, and Gene; and several great-grandchildren.
Her visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today (Monday) at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Michael Lee officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
