CORBIN —
Odessa Mae Burress, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Born in Jackson, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Noah R. Dulaney and Ina M. Dulaney. She had been an LPN and Dietician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Fillinger and Charles, Steve, Tom and Donald Dulaney; and her sister, Bertha Cline.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Burress, whom she married on April 24, 1966, in Manhattan, Kansas; son, James Burress and wife Sherry, of Corbin; grandchildren, Joshua and Jared Burress, of Corbin; sisters: Nancy Taylor, of DeLeon Springs, Fla.; Juanita Moberly, of Jackson, Ohio; and Elizabeth Malone and husband Joe, of Jackson, Ohio ; brothers: Jerry Dulaney and wife Linda of Parkersburg, W.VA.; Noah L. Dulaney and wife Rhonda, of Gainesboro, Tenn.; Larry Dulaney of Kansas City, Kansas; and Earl Dulaney and wife Ruth of Jackson, Ohio; and by several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation held on Friday, March 22, from 6-9 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
Burial will take place on Monday, March 25, at the Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan.
