Delbert Bray, 53, of Little Cane Creek Road, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his home with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 30, 1958, in Williamsburg, to the late Lewis Bray and the late Sarah Brown Bray.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Martin Bray Jr., and a son, Donald Ray Bray.
He is survived by a special friend, Dorothy Gibson, of Williamsburg, two sons, Delbert (Jamie), of Williamsburg, and Jonathan, of Williamsburg, two sisters, Tilda Lay, of Woolridge, Tenn., and Ruth Elswick (Buck), of Emlyn, two brothers, Charles Bray (Beverly), of Williamsburg, and Garrett Bray (Effie), of Corbin; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel in Williamsburg with Rev. Jerry Yancey and Rev. JR Dople officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Davis addition of the Highland Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel.
