CORBIN —
Otto Trammel, age 82, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born on Jan. 28, 1931, in Hamilton County, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Harlan and Sally Vaughn Trammel.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Hall Trammel, of Corbin; five children, Cindy Haight and husband, Gary, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Ted Trammel and wife, Andrea, Melissa Moppin, Sandy Trammel and Jane Degaro and husband, Jeff, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; four stepdaughters, Brenda Miller and husband, Tom, of Mount Pleasant, Tenn., Sandy Collett and husband, Landry, of Hyden, Connie Gast of Chapel Hill, Tenn., and Judy Dannaoui and husband, Azzam, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Lois Williams and husband, Strauther, of Hamilton, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen Bass and husband, Jacob, Rachel Horton Walters and husband, Charles, and Armenia Trammel and two brothers, James H. Trammel and wife, Mearlyn and Ancel Trammel.
He was the former plant superintendent at Zumbiel Box and was a member of Franfort Baptist Church in Corbin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with James Hodge officiating. Burial will be in the Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Bowling Funeral Home.
