BGTC Allied Health student from W’burg recognized at ceremony

Heather Meadors of Williamsburg was one of 16 Allied Health students from Bowling Green Technical College who were honored with awards presented at the annual Allied Health Award Ceremony April 6, at the Main Campus of the College.

Meadors received the Overall Program Excellence Award in the Sonography program area, as well as the Outstanding Allied Health Student of 2011.

Awards were presented in the categories of: Academic Excellence, Clinical Excellence, Excellence in Leadership and Overall Program Excellence. Each of the awards were given to students in the Allied Health programs of: Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Surgical Technology, Respiratory Care and Radiography. In addition, an Overall Outstanding Allied Health Student  was selected.

Meadors is the daughter of Bill and Sonya Meadors of Williamsburg. She is a 2008 graduate of Williamsburg High School.
