One hundred and seventy-five students from the Tri-County were named to Somerset Community College Dean’s List for the Spring 2011 semester. SCC’s enrollment is more than 9,200 students with a total of 701 students making the spring Dean’s List.

Clint Creekmore wins P.R. Jones Chemistry Award
On Monday April 25, University of the Cumberlands held its annual Honors Day Convocation. The program honors students, faculty, and staff for their achievements during the academic school year. One of the honored students was Clint Adam Creekmore (Williamsburg) who was recognized with the P.R. Jones Chemistry Outstanding Senior Award.

Appalachian College Association to fund student research at U of C
University of the Cumberlands has announced that two students, Jerrid Neeley and Paul Pryor, both juniors pursuing double majors in chemistry and biology, have received grants from the Appalachian College Association in the amount of $2,500 each to fund their summer 2011 research project.
