CORBIN —

BOWLING GREEN — The Corbin Redhound golf team turned in one of their best performances of the season during the Bowling Green Invitational this past weekend.
The Redhounds shot an impressive 324 to finish third behind winner St. Xavier High School (304) and runner-up West Jessamine High School (310).
“The conditions were very tough and the overall tournament scores were higher than usual, but we played well enough for a solid team finish,” Corbin coach Brad Harris said.
The Redhounds were led by Cody Ellis’ 78, which was good enough for a sixth place finish for the Corbin senior while teammates Connor Maguet (shot an 80, placed 13th), Alex Davis (83, 22nd), Luke Cooney (83, 22nd) and Henry Moore (91, 68th) rounded out the Redhound scoring.
