CORBIN — Whitley County cruises to district title with 3-0 win over Lady Panthers

BARBOURVILLE — The Whitley County Lady Colonels made quick work of Knox Central Tuesday in the 51st District Tournament Championship game, but there was no huge celebration or hoopla that followed the win.

North Laurel ends season for Cardinals

The North Laurel Jaguars advanced to the finals of the 49th District Soccer Tournament with a 3-1 win over crosstown tival South laurel Tuesday, ending the season for the Cardinals.

Redhounds need penalty kicks to get past Whitley

LONDON — The Corbin Redhound soccer team was literally taken to the limit Tuesday by Whitley County, but in the end, the Redhounds came away with a 3-2 win on penalty kicks (4-3).
