CORBIN — Despite 29-0 loss to Belfry, Jackson pleased with season

The Corbin Middle School Football team ran into a brick wall Saturday in the form of Belfry Middle School.

Lady Redhounds post best record in school's history

After closing out the best season in the history of the Corbin Lady Redhounds soccer program, head coach Eric Steely said he knows it will be tough to top this year’s 15-win effort.

Following winning season, Colonels look to continue progress in '13

The Whitley County Colonels were one point away from heading to the 13th Region tournament, but after losing to Corbin on penalty kicks, the Colonels’ season came to an end with a record of 8-7-2.

Time to classify other prep sports as well

Before I go too deep into this column, I want to point out that I thought really long and hard before I decided to write it. The subject has been a sticky one for a while and I have managed to steer clear of it until now.
