CORBIN — The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jacket tennis team dropped their season-opener against Corbin, losing in match play 9-0.
Williamsburg lost three players off last year’s team and returns a young group of talented players this season.

Former Lynn Camp Wildcat basketball coach and current Lynn Camp assistant principal, Anthony Pennington, has taken the bull by the horns, so to speak, and is ready to find a new replacement for former coach Clyde Dixon, who retired a couple of weeks ago.

Most would believe with the high school sports’ seasons coming to an end last week that there isn’t much to talk about with summer here. Well, they’re wrong and you guys know me, I always have something to ramble about and, yes, I do have some things to ramble about.
