The South Laurel Lady Cardinals continued their dominance over 31st District rival Corbin, as Todd White’s squad picked up a 5-1 win at Gilliam Field Thursday.
Convincing Win
The Whitley County Lady Colonels made quick work of Bell County Thursday, cruising to a 10-0 win at home.
Lady Wildcats snap losing skid to Knox Central
The Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats snapped an eight-game losing streak to 51st District rival Knox Central Thursday by winning in three sets, 25-17, 25-20 and 28-26.
The win improved the Lady Wildcats to 7-6 overall and 7-2 during their last nine games.
Redhounds finish strong at home
The Corbin Redhound golf team dominated the action during their final home match at the Tri-County Country Club by defeating both South Laurel and Middlesboro.
Just Enough
The Whitley County Colonels showed some fight Thursday against South Laurel, but four goals in the second half helped seal the 5-2 win for the Cardinals.
