The Tri-County has six high school football teams to reach postseason play, which begins Friday at various locations.
In Class A, David Mitchell’s Lynn Camp Wildcats (4-6) will travel to play the Raceland Rams (6-4), while Williamsburg (5-5) will host Fairview (7-3).
The Corbin Redhounds (8-2) will host Morgan County (2-8) in Class 2A, while Knox Central (6-4) will host Boyd County (2-8) for the second straight season.
Class 5A’s matchup between former district rivals South Laurel (4-6) and Whitley County (6-4) could be the most entertaining game of the week. The two teams will meet in the playoffs for the second consecutive season, as the Colonels will host the Cardinals.
