CORBIN — South Laurel heating up at the right time with win over Whitley County

BARBOURVILLE — The Knox Central Lady Panthers made quick work of Lynn Camp Monday in the semifinals of the 51st District Tournament, cruising to the 3-0 (25-17, 25-20 and 25-9) win.

Corbin finishes seventh in state tournament

BOWLING GREEN — The Corbin Redhound golf team turned in a seventh place finish in the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Boys State Golf Championship Saturday after turning in a 646 effort.

Lady Cards cruise past Whitley County

LONDON — The South Laurel Lady Cardinals wasted no time in dismantling Whitley County in the first of two 49th District Tournament semifinal matches Monday, cruising to a 10-0 win as the mercy rule was invoked with just eight minutes gone by in the second half.

Corbin tops North Laurel in semis, 4-2

LONDON — Despite several obstacles, the Corbin Lady Redhounds were able to get past North Laurel by a score of 4-2 in the semifinals of 49th District Tournament Monday.
