LYNN CAMP — Both Corbin and South Laurel advanced to the 13th Region title game by picking up wins in semifinal action Wednesday.

Jaguars needing a win to wrap-up No. 3 seed

This much is certain — the North Laurel Jaguars are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. What Chris Larkey and company don’t know is who they’ll be facing in the first round.

Colonels have a chance to lock up home district game

The Whitley County Colonels will be looking to get back on the winning track this week as they travel to Letcher County Central for a district showdown.

Redhounds searching for road district win

The Corbin Redhounds are staring down a road playoff game no matter what after losing to Bell County last week, 34-0.

    The Corbin Lady Redhounds went into Thursday’s game against Middlesboro riding a five-game win streak and winners of seven of the past nine. The streak didn’t last though, as the Lady Yellow Jackets outplayed Corbin to a tune of 10-0 in five innings.
