Lady Cats win second straight

DANVILLE — Lynn Camp entered the week riding a season-worst six-game losing streak, but now they’ll be celebrating the rest of the week with a two-game winning streak after defeating the Kentucky School for the Deaf Thursday in two sets.

The Lady Wildcats (9-12) won the first set easily, 25-10, before picking up the second set win, 25-16.

“Our girls played much better tonight,” Lynn Camp coach Cody Dixon said. “KSD has improved since the last time we played them.

“It was a much better game than Tuesday’s against Red Bird,” he added. “I was pleased with our girls’ play.”

Lynn Camp will be back in action Monday on the road against Red Bird.
