According to the popular website Wikipedia, identical twins occur in about three out of every 1,000 births worldwide. This basketball season in the Tri-County, there will be two sets of twins on the floor for their respective teams.

Yellow Jackets finish with best record under Herron

The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets just finished their best season under head coach Jerry Herron, finishing 11-2 after a season ending loss to defending state champion Hazard last Friday.

Williamsburg fans should be proud of Jackets

With the final high school football game of our season in the books, it's almost time to focus on a few winter sports and stay indoors for a few months as basketball season gets underway.

The Knox Central Lady Panther track and field team turned in a fifth place finish garnering 30 points in Friday’s Class 2A State Meet, as senior Cassi Shippy stole the show by capturing first place honors in the 100 Meter Dash (12.58) and a second place finish in the Long Jump (17-06.50).
