A London man has been charged with murder after he reportedly stabbed his girlfriend multiple times late Monday, according to London Police Chief Stewart Walker.

Tourism approves director agreement

In a special meeting Tuesday morning, the Barbourville Tourism Commission approved a contract agreement, setting the table for a position serving two purposes.

City waits for decision on occupational tax issue

The City of Corbin is looking ahead to late December, to see if a decision will be made over the issue of getting the occupational tax from residents who live on the Knox County side of the city, better known as East Corbin.

Corbin Schools to appeal KBE decision

The Corbin Board of Education has decided to appeal the Kentucky Board of Education’s decision earlier this month, on the non-resident student agreement between the Corbin Independent Schools and the Knox County Public Schools for the current school year.

Corbin man arrested for sexual act at London bank

A Corbin man was arrested Monday after police found him performing a sexual act while on the lawn at Forcht Bank on CVB Drive in London, according to London Police Chief Stewart Walker.
